CASE STUDY

[Japan] When testing transducers (convertors) in a distribution board, there are cases where the central monitoring system cannot be started up. In such situations, the output wiring of the transducer was disconnected and a digital multimeter was connected for measurement.  Similarly, when abnormal readings appeared on the central monitoring system on a board in operation, disconnecting the transducer output wiring during operation posed a high risk. Therefore, transducer testing was carried out during scheduled power outages to check for any malfunctions.

[Japan] A recorder we already owned was used to identify circuits with leakage current, but it was cumbersome to operate.

[Japan] For electrical installation inspections, we had to carry both a simplified earth resistance tester and a low-voltage insulation resistance tester, leaving both hands occupied.

【Japan】 Many types of testers are necessary to check insulation and leakage current etc. at the inspection of electrical tools and cable reels. One comprehensive tester which can reduce working time and increase working efficiency is ideal. In terms of management, saving and recording of measurement result is also the key feature.

【Japan】 * Working place is usually dark since the circuit breaker is turned off at insulation resistance measurement. * Difficult to see the display in the dimly lit location. * Not often, but sometimes the worker forget to turn off the circuit breaker. * Misunderstanding easily happens if multiple scales should be checked depending on the output voltage.

【Singapore】 When measuring loop impedance of EVSE by using multifunction tester and EVSE adapter, built-in RDC-DD (6 mA) trips sometimes. So I need to bypass the RDC-DD, that is extra time-consuming work.

【Australia】 It took two persons seven hours to determine that the cause of the RCD tripping in the field was a N-E reverse connection. Existing socket testers could not find the N-E reverse connection.

【Indonesia】 Multiple testers are required to check the power of a busbar (80x10 mm) or in cable crowded area. I've been worried about touching with a busbar adjacent to the cable I wish to clamp.

【Japan】 Just the selling points of our energy saving products aren't enough to convince our customer to purchase our products. Wondering if it is possible to quantify the power consumption and offer the data to stimulate their purchase intention?
